Your new company Hays is working in partnership with an established architectural practice in Newry as they look to strengthen their team with the appointment of an Architect or Architectural Technologist.

Your new role You’ll join an experienced architectural team, working across projects from design development through to technical delivery and on your experience, you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, coordinate with clients and consultants, produce high-quality design and technical information, and play an active role in taking schemes from concept to site.
The position could suit either a qualified Architect or an experienced Architectural Technologist, with the responsibilities shaped around your individual strengths and experience.
What you’ll need to succeed You’ll have a relevant qualification in Architecture or Architectural Technology alongside experience gained within architectural practice or a similar design be comfortable producing detailed architectural information and working collaboratively as part of a project team. Strong communication, design or technical ability and a good understanding of the construction process will be important.
Above all, the practice is looking for someone who wants to take ownership, contribute ideas and become a key part of the team as the business continues to develop.
