What you’ll do
- Lead the planning, preparation and delivery of statutory accounts in line with FRS 101, FRS 102 and relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the statutory audit process for key UK entities, working closely with external auditors and the wider Finance team to support an efficient and effective audit.
- Assess new and emerging reporting requirements, including areas such as IFRS 18, and consider their impact on statutory accounts.
- Own the Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) provision calculation, including the annual review and validation of key assumptions with stakeholders across the business.
- Coordinate quarterly FCA financial reporting requirements, managing the internal review process and partnering with the Compliance team.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations for ARO and other capital accounts and support the Tax team with information required for tax computations.

- ACA qualified or equivalent, with detailed knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Significant experience in preparing statutory accounts and working directly with external auditors.
- Demonstrable project management and communication skills, with the confidence to build effective relationships across different teams and seniority levels.
- Highly numerate, with strong financial analysis, reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
- Can demonstrate initiative and be comfortable working autonomously while staying focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Word skills, with SAP experience being highly desirable.
- Showcases a collaborative and inclusive approach, working effectively with stakeholders across Finance, Compliance, Tax and the wider business.
