A leading food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Whey Production Manager to take ownership of a high-performing processing operation and play a key role in driving operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.This is an exciting opportunity for a proven manufacturing leader with experience in food, dairy, process, or FMCG environments to lead a large production team within a technically advanced facility supplying products to global markets.
Your new role
- Leading, developing and motivating production teams to achieve world-class performance
- Driving continuous improvement, efficiency and yield optimisation initiatives
- Ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance
- Collaborating with engineering and senior leadership to deliver operational targets and strategic objectives
- Identifying opportunities to improve plant performance, productivity and profitability
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven production management experience within food, dairy, FMCG or process manufacturing
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Experience driving operational excellence and continuous improvement programmes
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
- A relevant qualification in Food Science, Engineering or a related discipline
