Senior Tax Accountant (Lead)

Interim Senior Tax Accountant 6 month contract | Full-time | Birmingham

Marc Daniels are recruiting for an Interim Senior Tax Accountant to join a leading UK professional services firm on a 6 month contract. This is a broad, hands-on role leading the firm’s tax compliance and advisory work across its UK and international operations, working closely with the finance leadership team.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and reviewing the annual LLP tax computation / allocation of taxable profits to partners
• Coordinating partner tax reporting, reserves and payments with external advisers
• Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations, returns and provisions
• Owning end-to-end UK and international VAT compliance
• Supporting PAYE, NI and benefits compliance and advising on remuneration and mobility
• Managing international tax compliance, including transfer pricing, treaties and withholding tax
• Give clear, practical tax advice to senior stakeholders and supporting business projects

What you’ll need

• – CTA, or ACA / ACCA qualified with strong tax experience
• – Broad technical knowledge across direct, indirect, employment and international tax
• – Confidence dealing with HMRC and managing external advisers
• – Available immediately or at short notice
• – Partnership or LLP tax experience, ideally within a law firm or professional services
