Project Implementation Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of customer projects from concept to implementation across the UK, focusing on racking, storage and warehouse automation solutions. You work closely with customers and senior stakeholders to ensure timelines, safety, and contractual obligations are met while maintaining high service standards. You will develop plans, schedules and budgets, coordinate subcontractors, and support engineering delivery on complex installations. This is a hands-on, commercially aware role with national travel, offering high-value projects and career growth with a global market leader.

Responsibilities

• Manage installations and implementations on customer sites across the UK
• Serve as the primary contact for customers and senior stakeholders
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets and technical specifications
• Coordinate subcontractors and external suppliers
• Support engineering design activities and technical project delivery
• Manage project risks, costs, resources and timelines
• Ensure CDM, health & safety compliance
• Drive projects to successful completion with excellent customer service

Key requirements

• Proven project management experience
• Experience with complex automated systems and racking & storage systems
• Experience delivering installation or implementation projects
• Strong stakeholder management and customer-facing skills
• Excellent planning, organization and problem-solving abilities
• Experience managing subcontractors and external suppliers
• Strong commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets and project costs
• Willingness to travel nationally
