Roster Project Manager

Overview

In this role you drive end-to-end recruitment for humanitarian deployments, coordinating with the Rostering and HSOT teams to source, screen, and onboard consultants. You partner with clients and technical teams to ensure compliant, timely placements and smooth onboarding. You’ll manage candidate engagement, roster responsiveness, and recruitment governance across multiple programs like HEROS, CHORD, and FCDO engagements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role shaping the roster service for rapid crisis response and global deployments.

Responsibilities

• Advertise roles and manage candidate sifting on HERMIS
• Create shortlists based on technical and compliance needs for client review
• Schedule and coordinate interviews and assessments with technical teams
• Handover recruited consultants to deployment functions and update profiles in Deploy/HERMIS
• Coordinate onboarding with Vetting Officer and ensure compliance
• Provide timely feedback to candidates and maintain positive candidate experience
• Proactively escalate issues and drive improvements to roster systems and processes
• Support monthly/quarterly/annual reporting on contract results and portfolio
• Promote consistency, integrity, and transparency across the team
• Deploy during emergencies and contribute to welfare/monitoring visits
• Fulfil Duty Officer responsibilities on rotation and support transition planning
• Engage with regional teams and participate in program management activities

Key requirements

• Experience in end-to-end recruitment, preferably in humanitarian settings
• Proficient with applicant tracking systems and HRIS for pipelines and reporting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with hiring managers and partners
• Ability to analyse recruitment metrics to optimize processes
• Strong candidate management from application to onboarding
• Integrity, reliability, and professional conduct
