Production Team Leader

Overview

As Production Team Leader you will guide day-to-day manufacturing on your shift, ensuring safe, on-time delivery of targets within a regulated, quality-focused environment. You will lead a skilled team, drive operational excellence, and act as a deputy to the Production Manager. Responsibilities

• Lead and direct manufacturing activities across your shift team
• Ensure production plans are delivered safely, on time, and to high quality standards
• Manage resources, equipment, and staffing to meet targets
• Foster engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Support compliance with cGMP, EHS, and quality requirements
• Maintain audit readiness across manufacturing areas
• Build relationships with stakeholders across the site
• Escalate operational issues and support problem-solving
• Act as deputy for the Production Manager when required

Key requirements

• Experience leading or supervising teams within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience is essential
• Aseptic manufacturing experience and GMP knowledge is highly desirable
• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• Focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and working in a regulated environment
• Ability to make informed decisions in a fast-paced setting
