BrightPathHR is recruiting on behalf of a freight forwarding client looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to grow its European road freight business.

The role

n

• Identify and win new business across UK and European freight markets.

n

• Build strong client relationships and develop repeat business.

n

• Prepare competitive quotes, negotiate rates and secure profitable transport contracts.

n

• Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth service for customers.

n

n

About you

n

n
• Previous sales or business development experience within freight forwarding, ideally European road freight.

n

• Strong understanding of freight rates, routes and profit margins.

n

• Confident winning new clients and managing commercial relationships.

n

• Self-motivated, commercially minded and comfortable working independently.

n

n

n

An established industry network would be an advantage.
