Project Manager – Data & Digital Infrastructure

Overview

As a Project Manager at Devonport Royal Dockyard, you will lead technology, digital and infrastructure initiatives from start to handover. You’ll coordinate technical specialists, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver on time, to budget and to quality. You will work on projects that support business transformation and operational excellence within a defence engineering context. This is an on-site, full-time role with meaningful impact and the chance to develop end-to-end delivery expertise in a high-security environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to delivery, handover and closure
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and resource forecasts
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and suppliers to hit milestones
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and change control
• Report performance, forecasts and progress to stakeholders and senior leaders

Key requirements

• Experience delivering projects in technology, digital, IT, data or digital infrastructure environments
• End-to-end project lifecycle management
• Experience managing scope, risks, budgets, schedules and change control
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and suppliers with competing priorities
