A leading and highly regarded accountancy firm in Lancashire is looking to appoint a Senior Manager / Practice Director to join its senior leadership team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant with a strong Accountancy Practice background who is looking for a senior, commercially focused role with genuine influence and responsibility.
You will take responsibility for a portfolio of predominantly SME and owner-managed clients, acting as a trusted adviser while playing an important role in the continued growth and development of the practice.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing and developing a portfolio of SME clients
- Overseeing statutory accounts and management accounts
- Providing commercial and strategic advice to business owners
- Developing strong, long-term client relationships
- Identifying opportunities for additional services and new business
- Leading client meetings and managing key relationships
- Supporting and developing junior and senior team members
- Working closely with Partners and the wider leadership team
- Contributing to the strategic growth and future direction of the practice
About You
You will be ACA / ACCA qualified with significant experience gained within an Accountancy Practice.
You may currently be a Senior Manager, Client Manager, Associate Director or Director, or be an ambitious practice professional ready to make the step into a Director-level position.
You will have:
- Strong SME / owner-managed client experience
- Excellent technical accounting knowledge
- Strong commercial and business development skills
- The confidence to deal with business owners and senior stakeholders
- Proven leadership and people management experience
- A genuine ambition to progress and contribute at senior level
