Up to £90,000 depending on experience
An opportunity to shape a new operation from the outset.
We’re partnering with a successful, privately owned national retailer to recruit an Operations Manager for its new Doncaster distribution facility.
This is a strategic appointment within the site’s Senior Leadership Team, combining operational leadership with warehouse planning, product flow and workforce management.
You’ll help shape the site’s operational strategy, develop a strong management team and drive performance across productivity, service, safety and continuous improvement.
We’re looking for experience in:
- Leading warehouse managers and multiple teams in a fast-paced distribution environment.
- Large-scale volume forecasting, labour planning and automated operations.
- Delivering operational improvements and managing change.
- Working within a unionised environment.
- Developing people and influencing senior stakeholders.
During the initial planning period, you’ll spend three days per week at the flagship Warrington distribution centre, working alongside the General Manager to prepare for the new site opening.
Accommodation and fuel/travel expenses are covered, with flexibility around your working week to accommodate essential planning and SLT meetings.
