Posted 04 November 2026 Salary €60000 – €70000 per annum, Benefits: + benefits Location Belgium Job type Permanent Discipline Data Reference PG-5

We’re exclusively partnered with a global data storage vendor to grow its EMEA technical support team.

With 40+ years in the market, they’re one of only a handful of vendors still covering every storage tier, from flash to disk to tape. A new leadership team has driven a strong run of sales growth, and the business is now reinvesting heavily in R&D, hiring and next-generation storage built for AI workloads.

That growth means the support team is busy, and they need a German-speaking support engineer who already knows storage and can start picking up customer tickets quickly. You’d be joining at a good time: a business on the up, with real backing behind its products and people.

What you’ll do

  • Own technical support cases for enterprise customers across EMEA, including German-speaking accounts
  • Troubleshoot issues and work out whether the cause sits in the product, the wider environment or the customer’s backup setup
  • Explain technical problems and fixes clearly to customers and partners
  • Work with product engineering to elevate issues and feed back on improvements

What you’ll need

  • Fluent German and English, spoken and written
  • 3+ years in a technical support role working with storage or backup
  • Solid grounding in SAN, NAS, backup and recovery
  • Hands-on experience with backup software
  • Confident dealing directly with customers
  • Based in Belgium

Nice to have

  • VTL, object storage or tape experience
  • Linux/Unix and Windows troubleshooting
  • Fibre Channel, iSCSI, replication or de-duplication
  • Backup tools such as Veritas NetBackup, CommVault or EMC NetWorker
  • VMware experience
