We’re looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support compliance, reduce workplace risks, and promote a positive safety culture across the organisation. This role sits within te Public Sector

Key Responsibilities

• Provide health & safety advice and guidance to managers and employees.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
• Support HSE reporting and corrective actions.
• Review and update policies, procedures and safe systems of work.
• Deliver health & safety training and awareness.
• Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a Health & Safety Advisor/Officer role.
• Strong knowledge of UK health & safety legislation.
• Experience carrying out risk assessments and investigations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.

Desirable

• NEBOSH General Certificate.
• IOSH membership.
• Public sector or estates/facilities experience.
