About our client
Our client is a growing, founder-led HR and people consultancy, working with businesses and charities across the UK. They help organisations look after their people, through ongoing HR support, outsourced HR, restructures, investigations and fractional senior HR leadership. They’re known for practical, commercially minded advice delivered with care, and they win most of their work through trust and personal recommendation.
The role
This is a relationship role, not a call centre one. Our client is looking for someone who already knows the North West business community, or who has a proven talent for building professional networks. You’ll open doors through the people you know and the relationships you build, then introduce the founder, who leads the conversation from there.
You will:
- Introduce our client to business owners, managing directors and senior leaders in your network
- Build referral partnerships with accountants, solicitors, insurance brokers, banks and business support organisations
- Represent the business at chambers of commerce, business groups and networking events across Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire
- Arrange introductions and meetings with the right decision makers
- Keep a simple record of your relationships and introductions, and share regular updates with the founder
About you
You’ll bring an established network of business owners, MDs or professional advisers in the North West, and a track record of turning relationships into business. You might have worked as a business bank relationship manager, commercial insurance broker, business development lead in accountancy or legal services, recruitment consultant, or in a membership or business support organisation.
You’re trusted, credible and good at keeping in touch with people. You don’t need HR knowledge, but you’ll care about how good people practice helps businesses succeed. You’ll need a full driving licence and your own car.
What’s on offer
A flexible arrangement that works around you: part time, full time or as a self-employed associate. You’ll get a base salary or day rate, plus uncapped commission on every client you introduce. Mileage, laptop and phone are provided, along with a workplace pension and 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays for employed roles. This is the chance to join a growing business early, with real influence over how business development is built across the region and beyond.
Our client is an equal opportunities employer and welcomes applications from everyone. If you need any adjustments during the application process, just let us know.
