We’re recruiting for a Car Sales Manager to lead one of the UK’s fastest-growing used car retail businesses. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll take ownership of store performance, customer experience, profitability and team development.
You’ll lead a team of Sales Controllers and Sales Executives, drive results, coach performance and ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional buying experience.
What You’ll Be Doing as a Car Sales Manager
- * Leading, motivating and developing a team of up to 14 sales executives and sales controllers
- * Running daily team briefings and driving sales performance
- * Coaching colleagues through one-to-ones, training and side-by-side support
- * Managing finance deals, compliance and FCA standards
- * Overseeing store operations and customer satisfaction
- * Taking ownership of targets, profitability and customer experience scores
- * Supporting customers through their buying journey and helping close deals when needed
What We’re Looking For as a Car Sales Manager
- * At least 2 years’ experience as a Car Sales Manager
- * Strong track record of delivering sales results
- * Experience managing and developing successful sales teams
- * Knowledge of finance products such as PCP and HP
- * Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- * Full UK Driving Licence
- * Must have car sales experience, particularly within used cars, independents or car supermarkets

Dealership opening hours:
- * Monday to Thursday: 9am – 7pm
- * Friday: 9am – 8pm
- * Saturday: 9am – 6pm
- * Sunday: 10am – 5pm
