In this role, you will deliver high-quality English lessons, fostering academic excellence and encouraging a love of reading, writing, and critical thinking. You will create engaging lessons that challenge students, deepen subject knowledge, and support outstanding outcomes in assessments and examinations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage, challenge, and inspire students.
- Support students in developing strong literacy skills, critical thinking, and independent learning habits.
- Monitor student progress through assessment, feedback, and targeted intervention.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations, supporting their academic progress and future educational pathways.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning across the department.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and academically ambitious learning environment where students can achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
- A degree in the relevant subject area alongside Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching English is desirable.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- The ability to motivate, challenge, and support students to achieve excellent outcomes.
- A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.
