Manager, Risk Management

Overview

In this role you will mature risk management across RTP International, partnering with product, engineering and operations to identify, assess and monitor risks. You will translate complex risk into practical actions, provide insightful reporting, and drive remediation. The position sits in First Line Risk & Controls and supports resilience, continuity and audit activities. You will help build a strong risk culture across the business and enable informed decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product, engineering, operations and risk teams to identify, assess, monitor and manage key risks and controls
• Monitor the risk and control environment to identify emerging risks, trends and issues
• Support risk and control assessments, assurance activities, operational resilience, business continuity and audit, and drive remediation of weaknesses
• Maintain high-quality risk information and deliver clear reporting to support management decisions
• Identify opportunities to simplify, automate and improve risk and control processes, monitoring and reporting
• Build strong relationships across the business to promote risk ownership and accountability

Key requirements

• Advanced, applied knowledge of risk and control frameworks and the three lines of defence, ideally in technology, payments or financial services
• Ability to identify, assess, monitor and manage operational and technology risks with constructive challenge
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate risk requirements into practical actions
• Clear and confident communicator capable of influencing stakeholders across product, engineering and risk teams
• Comfort operating across organizational boundaries and promoting risk ownership and accountability
