SAP Finance Consultant

Overview

In this role you help lead large-scale S/4HANA finance transformations, working closely with client finance teams to translate needs into a solid design and drive go-live. You’ll operate within the Finance Reinvention Partner framework, contributing to a strategy that combines finance expertise with AI-enabled delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams on meaningful CFO-focused outcomes and build credibility through practical, deliverable designs. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position in a fast-moving, AI-first delivery culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver SAP S/4HANA Finance scope across FI/CO modules (GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, CO-PA, Product Costing)
• Create functional artefacts: BPSD, configuration rationale, and RICEFW specifications
• Support configuration, validation and testing; flag risks early
• Work with Project Systems, Group Reporting or Central Finance where applicable
• Lead workshops and status discussions; manage client expectations and timelines
• Own and drive your scope end-to-end within the workstream
• Contribute to AI-enabled design, analysis and validation practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth go-live

Key requirements

• Hands-on SAP S/4HANA Finance delivery experience
• Proven ability to produce functional designs and artefacts from business requirements
• Experience with configuration, validation and testing processes
• Familiarity with Project Systems, Group Reporting or Central Finance is a plus
• Ability to run workshops and manage client expectations
• Strong problem-solving, structured thinking and communication under pressure
• Ability to work in an AI-first delivery environment as a plus
• Awareness of controls, intercompany or tax considerations shaping finance design
