Overview

As a claimant‑focused competition litigation partner, you will build and lead a new practice area within a Top 100 London firm. You’ll work with an entrepreneurial, collaborative team and leverage the firm’s strengths in class actions and claimant work to scale a standalone practice. Your role combines strategic development, client leadership, and cross‑practice collaboration to drive growth in damages and collective proceedings. This is a high‑impact opportunity to own a practice and shape the firm’s claimant litigation offering. You will partner with the firm to secure resources and position the team for long‑term success.

Responsibilities

• Build a claimant-focused competition litigation practice from the ground up and take ownership of its growth
• Drive strategy and business development to leverage existing client base and contacts
• Lead and manage competition damages claims, collective proceedings, and stand-alone claims with external funders
• Collaborate across practice areas to integrate claimant litigation capabilities
• Develop leadership and contribute to partnership‑level governance and firm strategy

• England & Wales qualified solicitor
• Existing claimant-focused competition litigation partner or ambitious senior associate/director (minimum 10 PQE)
