In this role you join a leading national law firm in Cardiff as a Senior Associate in Private Client. You will handle a high-quality, varied caseload for high-net-worth clients, estates and families, shaping wills, trusts and estate planning. You will contribute to the Cardiff office’s growth, support junior colleagues, and participate in business development across the region. Responsibilities

• Manage a varied private client caseload for HNW/UHNW clients, trustees and families
• Advise on wills, trusts, probate, inheritance tax and wealth planning
• Support the development of junior team members and mentor colleagues
• Engage in business development initiatives and build regional relationships
• Contribute to the growth and visibility of the Cardiff private client team

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer with circa 5+ years PQE in Private Client
• Strong technical expertise across a broad range of private client work
• Experience managing complex matters independently
• Ability to supervise, mentor and support junior colleagues
• Commercially minded with strong relationship-building and networking skills
• Existing Cardiff or South Wales market connections advantageous
• STEP qualified or working towards accreditation (desirable)
