Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and deliver hybrid cloud and on‑prem infrastructure for enterprise clients, blending hands‑on engineering with consulting and stakeholder management. You’ll work within Accenture’s Infrastructure Architecture & Engineering practice to support cloud transformation programs and large migrations, helping clients realise business outcomes. You’ll mentor teammates and contribute to proposals, staying current with cloud and security innovations. This position offers exposure to senior client leadership and cross‑functional teams, with a focus on impactful, scalable infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, implement, operate, and govern hybrid cloud and on‑premises infrastructure solutions
• Support full project lifecycle from strategy to operations
• Develop scalable, secure, resilient, automated infrastructure platforms
• Contribute to cloud transformation programs, infrastructure modernization, and large migrations
• Build strong client relationships and act as trusted advisor in cloud transformations
• Facilitate workshops and translate requirements into actionable recommendations
• Communicate effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to capability development
• Shape solutions and proposals for clients

Key requirements

• Proven experience in infrastructure architecture, engineering, consulting, or technology delivery teams
• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders in a consulting or professional services environment
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences
• Experience leading workstreams and coordinating teams in fast‑paced transformation programs
• Experience with multiple infrastructure fundamentals and cloud platforms
