Hydrogen Group is recruiting an Intellectual Property (IP) Associate with at least 3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) for a leading international law firm in London. The role is predominantly non-contentious and transactional, focusing on leading IP-heavy workstreams and advising on the IP aspects of major corporate transactions.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum 3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in Intellectual Property.
- Experience in Corporate/M&A support is particularly useful.
- Registered IP knowledge or sector expertise in life sciences, consumer, or advanced manufacturing is preferred.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Lead IP-heavy workstreams and advise on IP aspects of major corporate transactions.
- Handle IP asset acquisitions, patent, trade mark, and software licensing.
- Draft and review R&D and technology transfer agreements, commercialisation arrangements, and franchising contracts.
- Provide wider strategic IP advice.
- Collaborate with the contentious team on infringement and enforcement matters as required.
- Advise major corporates across retail & consumer, financial services, life sciences, defence, and advanced manufacturing on complex UK and cross-border matters.
