Civils Construction Manager

A leading engineering and project delivery organisation is seeking an experienced Civils Construction Manager to support the delivery of a major industrial project in Fleetwood.

We are also keen to hear from experienced Senior Civil Engineers, Section Engineers, Sub Agents and Civil Responsible Engineers who have a strong background in site-based construction delivery and civil engineering works.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful delivery of civil construction activities on site.
• Manage and coordinate civil subcontractors on a day-to-day basis.
• Monitor progress, quality, safety and programme performance.
• Provide technical oversight of groundworks, drainage, foundations, piling and associated civils packages.
• Identify and resolve construction issues to ensure works are delivered safely and efficiently.
• Liaise with project stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering civil engineering works within industrial, infrastructure, energy, utilities or similar heavy engineering environments.
• Strong understanding of groundworks, drainage, foundations and piling activities.
• Experience managing subcontractors and overseeing site construction activities.
• Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts and ensure safe project delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Utilities infrastructure

Please note: Candidates must have experience within industrial, infrastructure, energy, utilities or similar project environments. Those whose experience is primarily within residential housing, commercial buildings, hotels or retail developments are unlikely to be suitable for this position.
