Supply Chain and Quality Manager

Overview

As a Supply Chain Quality Manager, you will drive on-time, on-quality delivery of Landing Gear work packages. You’ll lead audits and assessments, collaborating with external suppliers and internal cross-functional teams to elevate qualification and risk management. The role supports Airbus’s mission to shape sustainable aerospace through proactive quality management and innovative manufacturing. You will travel regularly to engage suppliers and explore new technologies, contributing to world-class flyable products.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary operational interface with suppliers to ensure On-Quality, On-Time delivery
• Monitor new product introductions, transfers of work, and engineering changes to secure industrial qualification before serial production
• Evaluate supplier capacity, capability, and performance and manage quality approvals to meet aerospace certifications
• Proactively identify industrial risks, propose mitigations, and implement short- and long-term recovery plans
• Coordinate with Multi-Functional/Divisional Teams (MFT/MDT) to drive supplier performance improvement projects

Key requirements

• Proven track record in Supply Chain and Quality management
• Experience in aerospace or similarly complex environments (automotive/rail)
• Ability to build trusting relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Willingness to travel to new places and work in a fast-paced setting
