Europe Business Execution Lead Analyst, Vice President

Overview

As VP, you will strengthen governance and Controls for Citi’s Markets Europe. You’ll lead risk and control monitoring, oversee internal audits, and drive first-line defense across CGME and CEP. You will sponsor automation initiatives, including AI-powered controls, and coordinate across senior forums to resolve issues. This role supports a seamless, compliant European Markets business and reports to the Markets Europe Legal Entity Governance & Controls Head. You shape control design and risk assessment practices while mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Manage a robust governance framework for the Europe Markets businesses
• Oversee risk and controls monitoring activities for Europe Markets
• Sponsor and lead process / control automation
• Represent the team in senior forums and acting as decision-maker
• Ensure controls and monitoring methods are well designed and executed
• Oversee issues and audits for resolution and coordination
• Support risk assessments, risk inventory maintenance, and control execution
• Prepare Senior Management presentations for information requests
• Mentor and support junior team members

Key requirements

• extensive experience in a similar risk/controls role
• experience with internal audit and/or operational risk (preferred)
