Interim Head of Internal Audit & Assurance – Public Sector

Scottish Government OGD Recruitment is seeking an experienced leader for the interim post of Director of Internal Audit & Assurance. The role covers governance, assurance, and delivery for SG and public bodies through a shared service model, reporting to the Permanent Secretary with direct access to the SGARC and other committees.

The post oversees a budget of circa £4.3m and a 60 FTE Directorate, driving continuous improvement, risk management, and alignment with ministerial reform ambitions
