Salesforce Admin Developer

Overview

In this role you will manage and extend the Salesforce Education Cloud environment to support admissions, student services and enquiry management. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, implement and integrate custom applications that meet strategic goals. You will maintain data integrity, manage user accounts and continuously optimize system performance and user experience. This hybrid position offers the chance to drive process improvements and stay current with Salesforce innovations, contributing to the university’s operational excellence and mission. Responsibilities

• Manage and develop Salesforce Education Cloud to support admissions, student services and enquiry management
• Perform user account maintenance and ensure data integrity
• Design and implement custom applications to meet strategic objectives
• Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and ensure seamless system integration
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and continuously improve the system for performance and user experience
• Stay updated with Salesforce advancements, apply best practices and ensure compliance with data protection laws and university policies

Key requirements

• Salesforce Administrator Certification
• Salesforce Developer Certification (e.g., Platform Developer I)
• Hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and developing Salesforce solutions
• Experience with APEX programming and Lightning Web Components
• Strong problem‑solving and multi‑priority management
• Effective communication with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Background in higher education or similar sectors (advantage)
• Familiarity with development tools, methodologies, and UI/UX concepts (advantage)
