Secondary School Teacher – Cardiff

Location: Cardiff and surrounding areas

Pay: £866.40-£1,000 per week

Contract: Full-time opportunities

The Role

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across your specialist subject
• Support pupils’ progress and development across the secondary curriculum
• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities
• Assess learning and provide constructive feedback
• Work collaboratively with school staff to support pupil achievement

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience teaching within a secondary school
• Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
• Enhanced DBS for Children on the DBS Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• EWC registration, or willingness to register
