Corporate Finance Manager

Downey Osborne is partnering with a leading professional services firm to recruit a Corporate Finance Manager to join its Deal Advisory team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with strong Transaction Diligence experience to lead financial due diligence assignments, analyse business performance and work closely with clients, investors and professional advisers throughout the transaction process.

About You

• ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent qualified
• Strong Transaction Diligence or Financial Due Diligence experience
• Background in Corporate Finance, Transaction Services or Deal Advisory
• Excellent financial analysis and report writing skills
• Experience managing projects and client relationships
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Commercially aware with excellent attention to detail

About Your New Role

Always

• Lead buy-side and sell-side Transaction Diligence assignments
• Analyse financial performance, working capital, debt and cash flow
• Identify key financial risks and commercial opportunities
• Prepare and review due diligence reports
• Manage project delivery and client expectations

Often

• Liaise with clients, investors and professional advisers
• Present financial findings and insights to stakeholders
• Review financial information and assess business performance
• Support and mentor junior team members

Occasionally

• Contribute to wider corporate finance advisory projects
• Support financial modelling and valuation assignments
• Assist with client proposals and business development

Never

• Overlook key financial risks or inconsistencies
• Fight over the last biscuit in the office.
