Pay: From £14.85 – £16.25 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay

Jane Lewis is looking for experienced Children’s Healthcare Asisstants in Liverpool to support a children living in their own homes.

Our client supports children and young people aged 2 to 25 years, enabling them to live fulfilling lives at home and within their communities.

The young people you will be supporting have a wide range of needs, including:

• Complex health conditions requiring interventions such as tracheostomy care, long-term ventilation, gastrostomy feeding, and epilepsy management
• Neurological disorders
• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• Behaviours that challenge
• PICA
• Prader-Willi Syndrome
• Other complex physical, learning, and developmental disabilities

What you’ll be doing:

• Providing person-centred care and support
• Supporting everyday tasks and activities, at home and within the community
• Encouraging independence, choice and social engagement
• Providing personal care when required
• Following support plans and keeping accurate records

What you’ll need:

• To be aged 18 or over
• At least six months of paid UK care or support experience within the last two years
• Experience working with children
• A valid drivers licence and access to a car
• The right to work in the UK
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A caring, reliable and professional approach
