Spydr is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of a portfolio of client projects, overseeing their planning, execution, QA, and delivery. You will work closely with Account Managers and the delivery team to ensure projects are scheduled and completed on time, to scope, and within budget, while also contributing to the commercial health of projects and the wider maturity of our delivery practices.

What you’ll own
The work sits across client products, from the first requirement through to release.
- 01 Take ownership of projects from kick-off, and be accountable for delivery planning, scheduling and execution from that point on
- 02 Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects across multiple clients, prioritising resources across competing demands
- 03 Help define project scope, goals and deliverables, and use your own judgement on scope and risk
- 04 Build detailed project plans covering timelines, milestones and resource allocation
- 05 Own delivery profitability, tracking budget against actuals and reporting on project health
- 06 Coordinate QA and user acceptance testing, ensuring work is signed off before release
- 07 Spot and manage scope creep, put a number on its commercial impact and escal …? The Account Manager owns change requests and contract paperwork
- 08 Provide technical and delivery input to estimates and Statements of Work. The Account Manager owns all client-facing commercial documents
- 09 Give the Account Manager regular, proactive and clearly documented updates, so they can talk to clients confidently without chasing you
- 10 Flag risks, delays and changes as soon as you identify them
- 11 Escalate straight away if an issue could affect the client relationship or commercial terms
- 12 Join client meetings where delivery expertise is needed, supporting the Account Manager
- 13 Prepare and present project and portfolio health reports to stakeholders
- 14 Keep thorough, up-to-date project documentation
- 15 Track project performance and identify where it can improve
- 16 Improve our internal project management processes, tools and templates, and help embed best practice across the team
Your experience
What we’re looking for
- 01 At least 3 years’ experience managing software delivery projects, ideally across several clients at once
- 02 Experience running agile delivery, and familiarity with Git-based engineering workflows
- 03 Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, scope and profitability
- 04 Excellent written and verbal communication, and the confidence to raise risks early
- 05 Strong organisation, problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- 06 An interest in AI tools and a willingness to build them into how you work
Nice to have
- 01 An understanding of modern web development (e.g. TypeScript, React, REST APIs, PostgreSQL), so you can talk credibly with engineers and understand estimates
- 02 Demonstrable use of AI tools in project management
