Strategic Alliance Manager, Security, Google Cloud

Overview

As Security Strategic Alliance Manager, you drive long-term growth by expanding Google Cloud Security partnerships. You’ll align partner GTM plans with Google’s security offerings to accelerate adoption and generate joint revenue. You’ll work with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to shape security-focused strategies and tackle executive-level opportunities. This role combines strategic alliance building with hands-on collaboration to scale a vibrant partner ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Own growth acquisition through selected partners and nurture business opportunities after initial sale
• Develop and execute on business plans for year-over-year growth in partner accounts
• Maintain consistent Sales, Technical and Marketing benefits to partners to enable their growth
• Build connections with Sales Managers and Partner Solutions to drive partner attach across accounts
• Provide strategic input on opportunities, agreements, market announcements, and executive decisions to drive value and balance risk

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience with foundational cloud technologies (e.g., network, compute, database, middleware, visualization)
• 6 years of experience with partner/channel pipeline development and management, and Go-to-Market strategies

• excellent communication skills
• ability to present to leadership and C-suite
• stakeholder management
• Security Operations (SecOps) toolset including SIEM, SOAR, EDR
• cloud technologies familiarity (network, compute, database, middleware, visualization)
• partner ecosystem understanding (SI, SPs, ISVs)
