Overview
In this role you will lead the Clinical Business Unit within the trust, driving strategic direction, performance, and policy implementation. You will work closely with clinical leadership to translate patient-centred operational plans into compliant processes and governance, while engaging with external bodies and stakeholders. You’ll operate at a senior level to resolve complex issues, coach staff, and shape decisions that align with Trust objectives. Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of patient-centred operational strategy within the CBU
- Ensure systems and processes comply with legislation and governance requirements
- Liaise with commissioners and external bodies on service developments and contracts
- Contribute to strategic direction and policy setting as part of the senior leadership team
- Provide coaching and ensure engagement of clinical, staff and stakeholders in decision making
Key requirements
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Management qualification, MBA or equivalent
- Recent operational senior-level experience
- Strong communication skills (mediation, negotiation, consultation, facilitation, presentation, coaching)
- Knowledge/desire to understand computerised financial, management, budgetary, and workforce information systems
