Delivery Manager

Overview

In this role you will guide agile delivery on government projects, coaching teams to deliver outcomes. You’ll lead delivery across one or two workstreams, adapt approaches to client needs, and mitigate risks. You will act as a key client contact, shaping feasible delivery plans and building strong relationships. You’ll foster a healthy, high-performing team culture and contribute to a community of practice for delivery managers. This is a values-driven role at Version 1, offering coaching, growth, and impact in public-sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery in one or two workstreams with adaptable agile approaches
• Manage planning, problems and risks to keep delivery on track
• Act as primary client contact and translate needs into delivery plans
• Enhance team culture, performance and wellbeing to optimise output
• Contribute to the delivery management community of practice and coach others
