FoodQualityDevelopmentManager-Whatyou’llbedoing:

• WorkingwithUKprivatelabelcustomers’technicalandqualitymanagement,manufacturingsites,dedicatedcommercialteamsandEuropeanqualityteamstomaintainexistingprivatelabelbusinessandprogressnewopportunitiesfromdevelopmenttolaunch.
• Leadingcustomerqualityreviewmeetings,technicalcomplianceauditsandfirstproductionvisitsofsitestothestandardandpracticesrequiredaswellasinfluencingkeystakeholderstoachievedecisionsandactionsrequiredtodelivercustomerrequirements.
• Managingprojectswithineachcustomer’sprocess,criticalpathensuringalltechnicalrequirementsaremet.
• Keycustomercontactforallqualitytopics,policycompliance,development,renovation,packagingandproductcommunication.
• EffectivecommunicationandreportingonqualityKPI’s,complaintmanagement,developmentprojects,productspecifications,andpolicychanges.
• Continuallymonitoringthequalityandconsistencyofproductstoensureproductqualitystandardsaremaintained.

FoodQualityDevelopmentManager-TheSkillsYou’llNeedtoSucceed:

• Educatedtodegreelevelorequivalent,withafoodscience/technologybackground.
• PreviousexperienceinaQuality/DevelopmentManagementrole,preferablyintheUKwithexpertiseofmanagingprivatelabelcustomerrequirements(UKretailers).
• Excellentattentiontodetailandanalyticalskills
• Strongorganisationalandprojectmanagementskills
• ITliteracytoahighstandardespeciallyExcel
• Well-developedcommunicationandinfluencingskills.
• Flexibleandcreativeproblem-solvingskillstoovercomeobstacles.
• Highlyself-motivatedandresultsfocused,withtheabilitytoworkautonomously,aswellasworkingcloselywiththeQuality,Industrial,R&DandCommercialteamsinthewiderbusiness.
• FluentinFrenchwouldbeaplus.
• Fullcurrentdrivinglicenceisessential.ThepositionwillrequiretheflexibilitytotravelintheUKaswellastravellingregularlytoFrance,asbusinessneedsdictate,soapplicantsmustbepreparedtospendtimeawayfromhomeinaccordancewiththerequirementsofthejob.
