Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics & Recovery

Overview

In this role you enable high-quality perioperative care within The Cherwell Hospital’s theatre team. You will support scrub, anaesthetics and recovery across orthopaedic and ophthalmology cases, contributing to excellent clinical outcomes. You’ll work within a network of Ramsay hospitals, with access to ongoing development via the Ramsay Academy. The position offers a patient-focused, collaborative environment at a specialist orthopaedic and ophthalmology facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative care across scrub, anaesthetic and recovery areas
• Support elective orthopaedic and ophthalmology cases requiring scrub expertise
• Work in laminar flow theatres and with an Ophthalmology suite
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and outcomes
• Utilise Ramsay Academy resources for ongoing professional development

Key requirements

• NMC/HCPC Registered
• Orthopaedic/Ophthalmic Scrub, Anaesthetics & Recovery experience essential
• Flexibility to meet business needs
