Progress Chaser / Quality Control

Overview

In this role you ensure paint and bodywork quality while orchestrating the workshop flow. You act as the main link between front of house and workshop, chasing parts and updates to keep repairs on track. You’ll monitor progress against deadlines and support the team to deliver right-first-time workmanship. A focus on safety, clear communication, and collaborative problem solving shapes the daily impact of this position.

Responsibilities

• Quality checks on paintwork and bodywork at key stages
• Monitor workshop flow and track progress vs target dates
• Act as main contact between front of house and workshop
• Chase parts, authorisations, and signoffs to prevent delays
• Update colleagues on progress and likely completion dates
• Support the workshop to meet deadlines and reprioritise as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment

• Good eye for detail in paint and paintwork quality

• Strong organizational and workflow management skills
