Software Engineering Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead a skilled software engineering team to deliver cutting-edge solutions. You will shape engineering practices and guide technical direction across the software lifecycle. You will work with cross-functional teams to meet key milestones and deliver high-performance, embedded software. The position offers hands-on technical leadership while growing the capabilities of engineers and driving engineering excellence. You will be a pivotal technical liaison for customers and stakeholders, ensuring successful releases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of software engineers to high performance
• Define and evolve engineering standards and practices
• Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet milestones
• Oversee wireless communication software on heterogeneous platforms
• Act as technical point of contact for customers and gather requirements
• Support career development, coaching and knowledge sharing

Key requirements

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams
• Experience with C/C++ (ideally)
• Embedded software development for performance-critical/high-throughput applications
• Track record in designing and validating embedded or HPC software
• Ability to translate complex ideas into concrete development plans
• Experience with CI/CD, planning tools, and agile workflows
• Relevant degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
• Understanding of wireless communications principles or aptitude to develop it
