Applications Test Analyst

Overview

In this role you will help ensure the quality, performance and reliability of finance and business systems across a large organization. You collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders and partners to plan and execute comprehensive testing for enhancements, integrations and new functionality. You drive quality across the software lifecycle through hands-on testing and issue resolution. The position offers exposure to complex enterprise applications within a global team and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual functional, integration, regression and end-to-end testing
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities with business teams
• Identify, document, track and resolve defects and system issues
• Produce and maintain test plans, scripts, cases and test reports
• Collaborate with technical teams and external partners to troubleshoot issues
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements
• Support quality assurance activities throughout the software development lifecycle

Key requirements

• Previous experience in software testing, QA or applications testing
• Experience testing finance, ERP or practice management systems
• Strong SQL skills and experience with test management tools
• Knowledge of system integrations and end-to-end business processes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience working within a structured project delivery environment (Agile and/or Waterfall)
• Testing qualifications such as CAST, CMST, CSTP or equivalent would be advantageous
