Supply Planner CMO EU

Overview

In this role, you will help ensure continuous supply of EU-manufactured finished goods from CMOs, aligning procurement and supplier performance with regional goals. You will work within the Animal Health Global Supplier Management team to optimize supply continuity, cost-competitiveness, and process performance. You’ll analyze data to monitor performance, support budgeting, and resolve supplier-related issues across the region. This position offers the chance to shape regional supply strategies within a global healthcare leader, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and coordinate orders, shipments and deliveries from EU CMOs to maintain supply continuity
• Leverage systems and data to monitor supplier performance, financials and contracts
• Serve as operational/technical resource for AH-GSM and stakeholders to resolve purchasing system issues and educate on processes
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct root-cause analysis, manage risks and drive mitigation
• Prepare quarterly spend, savings, compliance analysis and support global budgeting; maintain SAP data
• Support supplier base reviews and resolution of quality or service issues
• Create and execute RFIs, RFPs, and e-Auctions with data-driven analysis
• Share learnings across AH-GSM to drive world-class outputs
• Lead continuous improvement, measuring and reviewing delivery against expectations

Key requirements

• Minimum 3 years in supply chain, preferably pharma/healthcare
• Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, negotiation, analytical and project management skills
• Excellent data analysis skills in Excel
• proficiency with SAP and reporting tools (e.g., Aera)
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and team-building abilities; culturally aware
• High adaptability to ambiguous, dynamic situations
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with strong organizational skills
