Job Description Account Director – Paid Search |Hybrid (Manchester, UK) |Up to £45,000n nAbout the Companyn n The business partners with a wide range of international brands to deliver performance-driven digital media strategies at scale. n The focus is on combining insight, technology, and creativity to drive measurable growth and long-term client success. n nAbout the Rolen n We are looking for an experienced Account Director – Paid Search to take ownership of strategic search activity across key client accounts. n This is a senior role responsible for shaping paid search strategy, guiding campaign direction, and ensuring high-quality execution across all activity. n You will act as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams, providing strategic oversight, performance insight, and actionable recommendations to improve results and drive growth. n nKey Responsibilitiesn n n Lead the strategic direction of paid search activity across assigned accounts n Act as a senior client contact, providing insight and recommendations n Oversee campaign performance and ensure alignment with KPIs and objectives n Ensure best practice is consistently applied across all paid search activity n Support test-and-learn approaches and optimisation strategies n Provide strategic oversight of campaign planning, execution, and reporting n Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams n Monitor industry trends and platform developments to identify opportunities n Contribute to wider search strategy and knowledge sharing across teams n Ensure governance, quality standards, and process compliance are maintained n n nSkills & Experiencen n n Strong background in paid search strategy and account management n Experience in a client-facing or agency environment n Strong understanding of digital marketing and performance media n Confident managing senior stakeholders and client relationships n Experience across major paid search platforms and tools n Strong analytical and problem-solving skills n Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment n Excellent communication and organisational skills n Ability to support and guide junior team members n n Desirable: Experience with additional search platforms. n nWhat We’re Looking Forn n A commercially minded paid search specialist who can combine strategic thinking with hands-on expertise.
