What you’ll do
- Take ownership of day-to-dayfinanceactivity, ensuring keyaccountingentries and controls are maintained to a high standard
- Keep groupaccountsrunning smoothly by supporting month-end routines and contributing to a fast, accurate close
- Play a hands‑on role in improvingfinanceprocesses, tightening controls and strengthening financial insight
- Handle core compliance activity, including VAT/CIS and ensure a strongaccountingframework is maintained
- Act as an important link during audits, preparing clean information and supporting efficient reviews
- Support payroll accuracy and ensure thefinanceteam has reliable data flowing into theaccounts
- Get involved in systems and automation projects, helping thefinancefunction scale with the business
What we’re looking for
- Practice experience is essential -ideally with audit exposure, and a solid understanding of professionalaccountingstandards
- Studying toward ACCA/CIMA or another recognisedaccountingqualification
- Confident working withaccounts, financial controls and compliance processes
- Someone proactive, curious and ready to grow with a fast-movingfinancefunction
