Senior Legal Officer — Children’s Social Care

Leeds City Council is seeking a Principal Legal Officer (Social Care Legal) to join the Children’s Social Care team in Leeds City Centre. You will advise on complex social care/public law matters and act for the council at hearings.

The role requires strong advocacy, the ability to manage a busy caseload, and to work to tight court deadlines while collaborating with colleagues. This is a temporary post until 31 March 2027 with potential further extension.
