Recruitable Staffing is recruiting experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians / HGV Mechanics for a specialist engineering contract based in Ashchurch. You’ll be working on the maintenance, repair, servicing and refurbishment of specialist heavy vehicles and equipment as part of an experienced engineering team.

Duties

• Servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding
• Vehicle inspections and defect rectification
• Component removal and replacement
• Preventative maintenance and overhaul work
• Supporting vehicle refurbishment programmes
• Working to strict safety and quality standards

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Experience with HGVs, commercial vehicles, plant, heavy machinery or military vehicles
• Strong mechanical maintenance and diagnostic skills
• Basic electrical fault-finding experience
• Able to obtain BPSS security clearance
