Do not wait to apply after reading this description a high application volume is expected for this opportunity.Locations: Whitehaven or WarringtonContract: 12 months, long-term rolling contract Working pattern: Hybrid IR35: Inside IR35 Pay: Competitive hourly Umbrella rates Clearance: BPSS clearance required prior to startingDue to continued growth, we are seeking experienced CS&A Engineers to join a busy engineering team, supporting the delivery of complex civil and structural engineering projects.These are long-term contract opportunities offering hybrid working, with positions available from either Westlakes or Warrington.The RoleAs a CS&A Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical delivery and quality of civil and structural engineering work, working collaboratively with clients and multidisciplinary design teams.Key responsibilities will include:Delivering high-quality civil and structural engineering designs to agreed scope, programme, cost and quality requirementsDeveloping and delivering design documentation and engineering solutionsLeading and supporting projects of varying size and complexityProviding technical input and justification to clients and multidisciplinary teamsCoordinating and supervising condition, measurement and other engineering surveysSupporting and developing junior engineers and designersChairing technical meetings, progress meetings and design reviewsWorking independently on complex engineering activitiesEnsuring compliance with relevant business, quality and engineering standardsAbout YouWe are looking for candidates with:Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent underpinning knowledge and experienceStrong experience within a civil and structural design environment, from within a nuclear of xwwtmva other highly regulated industryExperience leading projects and managing technical delivery, quality, programme, budget and resourcesStrong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and associated design softwareKnowledge of British Standards and CDM RegulationsExperience detailing reinforced concrete and structural steelworkGood understanding of applicable engineering codes and safety legislationHappy to undergo BPSS clearance prior to startingIf you are an experienced Civil, Structural or CS&A Engineer looking for your next long-term contract opportunity, apply today.
