Senior Product Engineer at Zapp will own the mobile and web experience for customers, building fast, reliable React Native apps with AI-driven features. You’ll shape end-to-end delivery from idea to production while collaborating with cross-functional teams to elevate the customer experience. The role blends mobile engineering, product sense, and architectural input to scale a high-velocity, customer-focused platform. Responsibilities

• Own the mobile and web experiences across iOS, Android, and web using React Native and Expo
• Integrate AI patterns into daily development and share learnings with the team
• Prototype and ship AI-powered features that enhance customer moments
• Design and ship end-to-end features, including backend work when required
• Take on on-call duties and ensure production health and reliability
• Profile performance, strengthen release processes, and maintain security
• Contribute to architectural decisions and coding patterns to uplift the team
• Mentor peers and elevate overall craftsmanship and product quality

Key requirements

• 5+ years of production software experience
• Strong React Native and Expo expertise with iOS/Android experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Comfort with AI-enabled development and applying AI to product work
• Customer-focused mindset and ability to measure impact by customer outcomes
• Production-minded with understanding of mobile performance, stability, releases, and security
• Excellent written and verbal communication, collaborative mindset
• Willingness to work in London on-site at least 3 days a week
