Data Cloud Partner Specialist, Google Cloud

Overview

In this role you drive the Data Cloud agenda through strategic partnerships, collaborating with regional data sales and engineering teams to maximize customer value. You’ll shape partner-led strategies, displace incumbents, and push data cloud growth across pre- and post-close opportunities. You track KPIs and report on partner-driven pipeline and enablement to accelerate adoption of Google Cloud Data Cloud solutions. The role centers on expanding market presence and enabling partners to position and accelerate our data offerings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute partner-driven Data Cloud strategies to generate growth
• Coordinate with regional Data sales and engineering teams to execute takeout strategies
• Drive incremental upsell and cross-sell with partners
• Enhance partner attachment growth across opportunities from pre- to post-close
• Track, analyze, and report on KPIs for partner-driven business and enablement activities

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience promoting IT business solutions and executing a territory sales strategy
• Experience identifying and managing use cases to solve customer issues
• Experience partnering with technical staff to build business cases and implementation plans

• ability to present to senior-level audiences

• domain expertise with data cloud and analytics landscape
• experience with data warehousing, data lakes, BI, ML, Vertex AI, AI, big data technologies
