Senior AI Native Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will build and ship AI-native products within autonomous product teams, owning end-to-end architecture, data models, and user experiences. You shape technically ambitious opportunities from ambiguity to production, leveraging AI tools while maintaining security, reliability and quality. You will collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver impactful, real-world workflows at scale. You’ll contribute to defining how AI-native product teams operate and raise the engineering bar.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product capabilities across frontend, backend, data models, APIs, integrations, AI systems and UX
• Design and implement agentic AI systems, including model interactions, tool use, orchestration, observability and guardrails
• Develop in an AI-native engineering model with CI pipelines and evaluation systems for high-quality outputs
• Translate ambiguous opportunities into concrete technical plans and scalable architectures
• Maintain product reliability, observability, security, performance and maintainability in production
• Provide rigorous technical reviews and help raise the engineering bar across AI-native teams

Key requirements

• 8+ years of production software experience
• 8+ years full-stack development
• 8+ years software engineering fundamentals (system design, data modeling, APIs, testing, cloud-native development, security, observability, production operations)
• 2+ years AI-native engineering experience (LLM APIs, coding agents, tool integrations, retrieval, evaluation frameworks, guardrails)
• 1+ year experience taking products from zero to one and delivering in production
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (minimum 12 years)
• Strong communication and collaboration with product, design, customers, and domain experts
• Ability to operate with ambiguity and deliver with limited information
• Interest in frontier AI and experimentation with new models/tools
