Senior Product Owner

Overview

In this Senior Product Owner role you will define and drive the INTeACT product vision for next-generation Royal Navy capabilities. You will balance stakeholder needs with business objectives and maintain a prioritized backlog to guide software delivery. Working within an agile, cross-functional team, you will oversee iterative development and ensure mission system outcomes are achieved. Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the INTeACT product vision aligned to stakeholder needs and long-term roadmap
• Own and prioritise the product backlog with Epics, Features and User Stories
• Oversee agile delivery, participate in Scrum events, review sprint progress, and accept work against requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering teams to set priorities, support design reviews, and drive delivery of mission system capabilities

Key requirements

• Extensive software engineering experience in complex environments
• Strong knowledge of software engineering processes, Agile and DevSecOps
• Proven track record leading design and development of complex software products or systems
• Chartered Engineer status or working towards chartered status, or equivalent professional registration
