Business Consultant – Revenues & Benefits

Overview

As a Business Consultant in the RBCG team, you will apply expertise in NEC’s Benefits and related products to advise on implementations and optimised use. You’ll train clients on-site and remotely, share developments, and help shape new consultancy offerings. You’ll ensure high customer satisfaction and contribute to product improvement through feedback. This role blends hands-on delivery with knowledge sharing to support public sector clients and drive successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultancy and training on NEC Products and Service Implementations in your area of expertise
• Deliver consultancy / training on site and via Webinar / Screen share facilities
• Carry out presentations / demonstrations for delegates
• Contribute to the development of new consultancy offerings for newly developed software / services
• Make recommendations relating to best use of NEC software in line with the client’s business needs
• Ensure all consultancy and training is delivered effectively and achieves positive customer feedback
• Ensure customer satisfaction with the products and services feeding back any issues
• Assist with product development including attending user groups and creation of user guides
• Deliver quality seminars to large customer groups
• Progress and update knowledge of relevant legislation and NEC products and services
• Extend your own and other consultancy team members capacity to deliver consultancy through internal training and mentoring
• Provide the flexibility to support management decisions as and when workloads and priorities require that you work for periods in related areas such as product management, business analysis, testing or support within the NEC business

Key requirements

• Expertise and up-to-date knowledge in one or more NEC products or services: Benefits (CTR/CTS and Housing Benefits)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Problem-solving ability in demanding circumstances
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team on multiple projects in parallel
• UK Driving license and willingness to travel as required
